Radon Mitigation Saves the Day
This client was undecided if they'll still get a radon mitigation system since they were planning to sell the home and move to another state. They did ask for a free quote last year and called us back this year for another. They were unsure if the money is worth the hassle. One time, a home inspector visited and advised them to get one otherwise their home would not be suitable for the modern market, state laws, and for health concerns of the potential new owner. Lo and behold, they asked competitors and they came back to us as they were happy with the 10-year warranty the system came along with!

Radon Remediation in Anita, Iowa
The client -- Grant just bought house and moved in a couple days ago. He got a radon test as he wasn't confident with the health and safety of the home. He got levels of 6. It's a ranch house with a walk out and unfinished basement. It has no sump pit. The team did a sub slab extraction point behind stairs and garage and cored through poured foundation to exit on side of house and route up. They explained to Grant that he needs to have a crack sealing as the expansion joints were deep and he said he can already manage that on his own. Everything went well!

Multi-Point Radon Mitigation for Family Home Focused on Health & Future Plans
The client reached out on behalf of her daughter, deeply concerned about radon exposure symptoms affecting her grandchildren’s health. With Lexi's home featuring multiple basement chambers, a 3-point radon mitigation system was designed to ensure comprehensive radon gas removal. A charcoal test kit will determine warranty eligibility after installation. Due to the home’s layout and a finished basement section, careful planning is required—two coring fees were included to allow extraction points to tie through foundation walls. Exhaust will be routed toward the north side of the home to avoid interfering with future renovations. A walkthrough before starting is crucial. This proactive family is tackling radon remediation head-on—choosing health, safety, and long-term peace of mind.

Custom Radon Mitigation System Improves Health and Comfort for Longtime Homeowners
An elderly couple, married for 62 years and living in their home for over 50, became increasingly concerned about their indoor air quality — especially since they spent much of their time downstairs. A radon mitigation plan was carefully designed around their needs. A single-point depressurization system was installed, utilizing the existing sump pit in the northeast corner. Due to its irregular shape, a custom sump lid was crafted to ensure a proper seal. The radon exhaust was routed neatly through the same corner, with a soffit penetration to maintain the home’s exterior appearance. Additional crack sealing throughout the basement further strengthened the system’s effectiveness. With the new system in place, they now enjoy a safer, healthier environment for years to come.

This was a lovely couple who had an unfinished home and had a radon test during while on the construction phase. The levels were too high so they really decided to mitigate for the protection and safety of the whole family. It was a straight forward installation since there was an ideal structure and room for the radon mitigation system. They were really nice and gave the team on the spot feedback along with some referrals.
