The homeowner was very concerned since his kids like to play in the basement so reached out to us to make sure that would be a safe and protected place against high radon exposure. The install was successful.

This client had his home radon test return to a level of 10 which alarmed him so much that he immediately made a deposit for his own mitigation system. He is very concerned about the future effects of radon or if it's deemed poisonous at high levels. We definitely explained what he needs to know and set up a plan for his home. Everything went well. 

A Hidden Danger Beneath

This client's ranch home, with its finished basement and dirt crawlspace, harbored an invisible threat: radon levels of 13. The only unfinished area was a small HVAC room, with no sump pit, just a wastewater grinder. The client, already facing a lung mass, needed swift action. Plans were made to install a sub-slab extraction point by the water heater, routing into the crawlspace. The joists could have worked for venting, but the insulation, held by chicken wire mesh, complicated things. Instead, two cores would be drilled through the foundation walls. The client would clear out debris beforehand, and we’d encapsulate the space, setting a second extraction point to vent through the soffit. Everything worked out as planned.

This homeowner was very protective of his health due to his current issues and made the decision to get a radon mitigation installed for extra safety. Customer was happy. 

High Radon Levels Worry Family Home

Levels of 7.2 were detected in this ranch house with a half finished basement. The installation type is a sub slab extraction point next to plumbing stack on back of house next to sink and refrigerator. It was how the client imagined so it would not be eating much enough space in another section of the home. They also added Breathe EZ for better filtration of radon. They wanted to make sure this should until retirement! We did agree!
