Sump Pit Seal Upgrade in Falls City, NE

To mitigate radon gas from all entry points in a home, we have to take sumps into consideration. In this home, we installed a two extraction point radon mitigation system and added a new sump pit pump with a discharge line and a cover. We dug the sump pit lower so we could properly install the sump pump, put in a new discharge and seal the pit.

This client was a bachelor who mainly works at home and spends most of his days indoors. He wanted to make sure he is protected from radon exposure as he does believe his health is what matters at the end of the day. Upon booking he was really accommodating and very open with his home. He was really happy on how the radon mitigation system installation turned out!

Met virtually with this client. This was a cool story as our Senior Tech Andrew was doing an installation in town last week and this client literally stopped him to see if he could come take a look at the house, so Andrew took pictures and designed. Radon levels over 3 (three) tests ranged 28-38. That's high. Two sump pits, one with interior drain tile, slab on grade finished space that used to be a garage. We came up to 3 total extraction points. This was a fast install as Andrew already made a draft design for him which he really liked, and everything followed.

This was a newly built construction and it will be in breaking ground in a few weeks. Customer made sure there was passive and active protection against radon. The install was a success.

New Home but Needs Radon Mitigation

Ryan and his family just bought house recently and have not moved in yet as they're doing some renovating. They tested and returned with radon levels of 16 and possible health concerns. Basement has two chambers and is unfinished. The plan was a sub slab extraction point in corner towards base of stairs, core through wall low for second point in second chamber. Route up in main basement chamber and exit through rim joist and route up. Everything went well!
