Radon Mitigation - Omaha, NE
Radon testing was the first thing the homeowner has done and he was not happy with the results. It was really high. They planned ahead and called Radon Defense Midwest for a free estimate. The installation was planned as point in sump and second point by stack between water softener and laundry. The team spray foamed the exposed dirt under shower, it is accessible from utility room by sump. A fan cover was included. It was a two-story home and on a slope the team recommended setting up ladder on side of house. Everything went as planned.

Jeremy is a chiropractor and his wife is a nurse practitioner that works for a cancer center. They bought the house 11 years ago and he thought they did a radon test at the time but was mistaken. Recently tested for radon and learned levels were 26 so was concerned as it's really high and has avoided having his 4 kids spend as much time downstairs. Most of basement is finished but that's where the kids spend most of their time. They specifically requested to have it at the foundation from end of the home. It worked out as how they wanted it to be.
