Radon safety was learned by this client's daughter from school. She expressed how she was concerned for their home and wanted to have a radon test. The result retuned around 30 pCi/L, she was really worried how it was this high for the longest time they have been residing in their home. They immediately called Radon Defense Midwest and told the team it was on top of the list upon hitting search on Google. Happy that they knew how legit the company's feedbacks were, they decided to move forward with the installation. It was a simple system for an average home, not too complicated. They were happy how it turned out!

This home had a very high radon test result. This was a free test from Radon Defense Midwest and the client decided to take the initiative to get the radon mitigation system installed after knowing that her radon levels were through the roof. It was a ranch style home with another smaller house in the property. 

This 4-chamber home was radon tested and came out to be with 8.7 pCi/L on levels -- which is really high. It was an average duplex home and the area used to have brick floor but the homeowners decided to remove it and replaced it with gravel, plastic and concrete. It had an accessible crawlspace to work on and sump pit. We routed the installation plan into the crawlspace for second point and put the radon fan on the south side of home next to the downspout. The homeowner is very detail-oriented so we were really careful explaining every little bit of detail he needs to know. Radon Gas Remediation for Big Home in Friend, Nebraska

15 years ago the homeowners used plastic to line the crawl space to prevent soil gas intrusion. Found out that the covering is in major disrepair and will need to be removed. Educated homeowners about this and they agreed. The team will encapsulate the 2 areas on the east side of the home along with the crawlspace. It will be a 4-point system as the home is quite large. Three points in the crawl spaces where existing system is run. Plus one point under or next to the stairs. The area under the stairs is tight and will need to be encapsulated. The radon fan was replaced with a better one and the clients requested to keep the old. Everything went well and homeowners are happy!

This client had an old radon mitigation system from another company, and they feel like it's no longer fulfilling the job. They called us for a free estimate and wondered if it's better to have it checked. The team drafted a plan for the client and had a radon test - levels returned with 7.9 and she wasn't really happy with that number. The team came to her home and discovered there were cracks around the old system. Advised all fixes for her home and agreed to have them done. Everything went well and she feels better!
