What Is Radon Before & After Photos

This client was a health geek and wanted to make sure this new home is protected from radon. He is aware that radon is a silent killer so he wanted to make sure his family is not exposed. 

This client values constant communication and that's one of the reasons why he booked Radon Defense Midwest as is very happy everything is being informed and up to date! The radon mitigation installation in his home was quick and easy because the extraction points were not really hard to find. Everything was planned according to the client's wishes along with the execution. 

It was a simple project; the client wanted a system to guard them from exposure. The team drafted for the installation is to start with sealing the sump lid and around the plumbing stack in the storage room. The customer was so trusting to the point he left the garage door for us to start the job. We made sure everything was secured before we left. Customer was happy.

This customer has an idea about radon and is willing to be protected from exposure. He offered a sump lid the team can use throughout the installation and will just need to fasten it to the caulk. The whole basement floor was on builder epoxy since they didn't put down aggregate or a vapor barrier like they were supposed to. The homeowner's wife is going through chemo so that's the main reason for this whole installation. 

It was a simple single point system installation. The extraction point created was in the east bedroom closet out thru wall (low) with fan on outside behind the bushes. The team sealed the pit with a plexi-lid and spray foam the geothermal entrance/exit in mechanical room near furnace.
