This project was pretty simple as client wanted to add another system regardless if they already have one from another company. They really wanted to reduce their levels as low as they can. The basement was wide open as a start and the extraction point will on the center of the south wall in front of the home. Everything went smoothly. 

David was a straightforward homeowner who explained his demand for simplicity in a very detailed way. He agreed to our drafted plan on how the installation would go through and he explained he is doing this mainly for family. In any case, there won't be any 'regrets' in the future. Everything went well and David was happy how it turned out! He even left a 5-star Google Review. 

Radon Concerns After Diagnosis

After a family member was diagnosed with lung cancer, the client became more aware of environmental factors that could contribute to health risks. A friend mentioned radon, so they conducted a test in their home. The results showed elevated radon levels, which left them alarmed. Wasting no time, they arranged for a radon mitigation system to be installed. Post-installation tests showed significantly lower radon levels, providing the family with comfort that they had taken an important step to reduce future risks.

Since radon gas comes up into our homes through the soil, crawlspaces with exposed dirt need to be sealed off. This one in Auburn was a wrap with our 20 mil poly cleanspace to prevent radon from coming up into the home. 

This client started working from home and wanted to remodel his basement into his personal office and soon to be 'man cave'. While he is starting, he wanted to make sure he is protected since he spends most of his time there. He booked with Radon Defense Midwest for a radon mitigation installation and he was very happy with his decision!
