Radon Testing Before & After Photos

Andy was very nice and bought the house 6 years ago with his family. He was unsure of levels and thought under 10 when I asked, but I was getting much higher levels using the EcoTracker. The home had a two-chamber basement - which was the start. Health concerns was the primary reason, and they will start to build an extra bedroom for another family member there.

This was a two points install, one next to laundry then go through drywall into garage and run over to wall of garage next to shelf for second point. Only good spots for fan and suction points. Homeowner's elderly parents live her with her and will likely be the ones home.

Radon gas is something that this client is worried about as a public health problem. She wanted to mitigate since last year but was hesitant to do so. This home had an alarming radon level of 40-70 pCi/L in the basement. The customer was very concerned and to help in every step of the way. He insisted to create a larger opening for us to encapsulate the crawlspace. It was plenty deep. We had made a total of 5 extraction points with 2 fans installed. The homeowner wanted to make sure every part of the installation was smooth and was really happy that the team cleaned up after the work is done. 

An active passive system is the wish of these homeowners when they called us. They are worried because they had their home tested and returned with high radon levels. Radon Defense Midwest installed a radon mitigation system according to their liking and still looks aesthetically pleasing with the clients' home.
