Radon Testing Before & After Photos

This home had an alarming radon level of 40-70 pCi/L in the basement. The customer was very concerned and to help in every step of the way. He insisted to create a larger opening for us to encapsulate the crawlspace. It was plenty deep. We had made a total of 5 extraction points with 2 fans installed. The homeowner wanted to make sure every part of the installation was smooth and was really happy that the team cleaned up after the work is done. 

An active passive system is the wish of these homeowners when they called us. They are worried because they had their home tested and returned with high radon levels. Radon Defense Midwest installed a radon mitigation system according to their liking and still looks aesthetically pleasing with the clients' home.

The radon levels of this customer were just a little over the safe range but they still decided to get a radon mitigation system for their home to be protected. They did say that it's better to be safe than sorry!

The client got this home with high radon levels and unaware of it. Within a few days, he contacted us and the team had installed a radon mitigation system that brought the levels down to acceptable levels. Everything went smoothly and the client is happy!

Met with Scott, a retired UP executive, and his wife, a retired nurse, at their large ranch-style home. The house boasts geothermal heating, ICF construction, and spray foam insulation inside the attic roof for energy efficiency. They already have an ERV connected to their HVAC system but need a custom Breathe EZ and L brackets for a larger filter. With no sump pump, they have a passive system with a capped pipe near the sump pit. They also require crack sealing, a UVC light installation, duct cleaning with deluxe fogging, and dryer vent cleaning. Radon levels were 5.5 short term and 2.7 long term, seeking peace of mind with a system while enjoying retirement.
