A Home Sale Almost Fell Through – Until Radon Mitigation Saved the Deal

When this family decided to sell their home, everything seemed perfect—until the buyer requested a radon test. The results came back with high radon levels, putting the sale at risk as per their real estate agent. Determined to resolve the issue, the family reached out to our team for a professional radon mitigation system. We quickly installed the system, reducing radon levels to a safe range and providing the documentation needed to satisfy the buyer’s concerns. Thanks to the mitigation system, the client were able to close the deal with confidence, while ensuring the new homeowners would be safe from radon exposure.

This home was quite huge along with a good sized crawlspace about 4 feet high. It also has a rock base layer. The team did their best ability to install a smart drain and start the installation from the old basement storage room as per the client's request. There is a sump in the finished spot that is going to be used since it has an interior drain tile sealed with a Plexi lid. The installation was a success and everything turned out the way it should be. 

This client was in the construction industry too, so he definitely understands the concept of radon mitigation. He called professional help as he plans to replace the pump and maybe add a battery back-up just for safety purposes. Everything went well with the installation!
