A New Home, an Unexpected Risk as per Realtor

A recent homebuyer never expected radon to be an issue. During a routine home inspection, their realtor recommended a radon test, just to be safe. The results revealed elevated radon levels, putting their health at risk. Wanting to protect their family, they reached out to us for a professional radon mitigation system. Our team successfully reduced the radon to safe, breathable levels. Now, this homeowner enjoys their new space with peace of mind, knowing their family is safe from this invisible, cancer-causing gas. Their experience is a reminder that every home should be tested for radon.

This is an interesting project as the layout of the home was a reno (renovation). There is a thin utility strip across the center of the basement. Half is finished and the rest is crawlspace. If you go on the left side of the utility strip, the sump pit needs to be crawled to in order to seal it up. Not a super comfortable thing to have to do but is about 8-10 feet crawl. From the outside of the home, the exit hole will need to be on the shorted park of the home toward the porch. Mainly wanted protection from exposure because they're getting a radon mitigation system. Inside this relates to needing to exit somewhere in the crawl space, some concerns still needed a fix. We offered the homeowner a crawlspace encapsulation and will have this considered in the future!

This customer did a series of radon testing and bounced between 15-17 which triggered him wanting to get a mitigation system installed as soon as possible. He was very happy with the work and mentioned our lead techs were nice!

This was a swift install since the home had a big crawlspace and there was an intended spot for the system. Everything went well along with the paperwork requested by the customer! 

This was a huge home with a spacious basement -- which is where most of the time the client's kids stay and do school stuff. He wanted to make sure they are protected from the dangers of radon. We have educated him about how radon seeps into homes and causing it to be harmful in the long run. Without hesitation, he wanted to get a radon mitigation system installed for his whole home. He was very happy how it turned out.
