Radon Mitigation - Milford, IA
The client was well aware of radon and is scared by its future effects if left uncontrolled. So he made the decision to test, mitigate and contact his local radon mitigation specialists (us). We were able to explain how the installation process would be and he agreed to it. We were able to install a single-point system around the eave with a sub-slab extraction point.
Great Encapsulation
Andrew and Jordan did a great job with this encapsulation and mitigation system.

Lakefront Log Cabin Gets Discreet Radon Mitigation Without Sacrificing Aesthetic
Tucked away at the bottom of a steep gravel drive, a beautiful two-story log cabin overlooking the lake was experiencing elevated radon levels of 11.6. With no warranty on levels and a fully finished basement, the homeowner took proactive steps to ensure the safety of the space. A single sub-slab extraction point was installed in the HVAC room, with careful planning around washer/dryer placement to maximize effectiveness. The system was routed discreetly—cored through the poured wall and run behind exposed exterior logs to preserve the cabin’s rustic charm. Though no one was home during the installation, everything was carefully coordinated. The homeowner also invested in a 20x25 BreatheEZ filter and UVC light system for their primary residence in Des Moines.

Simple Radon Fix for a Basement: One-Point Radon Mitigation
Justin and his wife had owned their home for about a year when radon became impossible to ignore. Their basement was half dirt, half concrete, and even after encapsulating the dirt side, the levels stayed high. With indoor air quality already a concern from a past home, they decided it was time to fix the problem, not chase it. A one-point radon mitigation system will be installed beneath the vapor barrier near the sump, then routed up and out the east exterior wall. A little extra taping may be needed where the barrier meets concrete, but the layout is simple, effective, and built to bring levels down. Sometimes one smart step changes everything. Here, it’s clean air, lower radon, and peace of mind finally settling in.
